The Foundation of Our Program

Behind every exceptional foal is an exceptional mare.

Our broodmares represent decades of selective breeding from some of the world's most respected sport horse programs. Many have successful competition careers, premium approvals, and proven offspring competing throughout North America.

Combined with carefully selected stallions, they produce foals possessing elasticity, athleticism, rideability, and modern sport horse type.

Belerina (Bella)

Quaterback × Rubinstein I × Inschallah AA

2012 German Oldenburg (GOV) | Premium Mare | Westfalen Verbandsprämie

Performance Tested | Proven Sport Horse | Proven Broodmare

Belerina is a German Oldenburg Premium mare who combines an accomplished performance history, exceptional rideability and a pedigree filled with some of the most influential names in European dressage breeding.

By Quaterback and out of the imported Oldenburg mare Belrose, by Rubinstein I, Belerina is a striking example of her sire’s type and movement. Her pedigree continues through her granddam Bandeska, by Inschallah AA, giving her the highly regarded Quaterback × Rubinstein × Inschallah combination.

Belerina was awarded Premium Mare status by the German Oldenburg Verband following her mare performance testing, where she won the conformation and movement-in-hand portions and placed second in jumping. She was subsequently recognized by the Westfalen Verband as a Verbandsprämie mare, earning an inspection score of 7.3.

Before entering our breeding program, Belerina enjoyed a successful and versatile performance career, competing in dressage as well as eventing through the regional and national level. Her athleticism, bravery and exceptional temperament have proven equally valuable in the breeding shed.

Belerina has become one of Lollybrook’s most consistent producers. She stamps her offspring with her beautiful type, substantial movement, confident temperament and unmistakable Quaterback presence. Her foals have included offspring by Florestan, Fabregas, Gaudi and For Romance, consistently demonstrating the quality and versatility of this mare line.

Her dam, Belrose, is an imported German Oldenburg daughter of the legendary Rubinstein I and comes from an established German mare family. Belrose has been a successful producer in her own right, with offspring recognized for their temperament, athleticism and suitability for dressage.

Belerina represents something we particularly value at Lollybrook: a mare who has proven herself in sport, through performance testing, at breed inspections and as a producer.

In Foal to Morricone

Belerina is currently in foal to Morricone, bringing together his modern Oldenburg dressage blood with Belerina’s proven Quaterback–Rubinstein maternal foundation.

Expected 2027 foal:

Morricone × Quaterback × Rubinstein I × Inschallah AA

Pikilia van de herkenhoek

Kjento × Skovens Rafael × Scandic

2020 KWPN | Ster | Voorlopig Keur | PROK

Imported from the Netherlands

Pikilia van de Herkenhoek is an exceptional young imported KWPN mare combining the modern dressage influence of Kjento with a highly successful Dutch performance dam line.

Presented at the 2023 KWPN mare inspection in the Netherlands, Pikilia earned outstanding scores of 80 for conformation and 80 for movement, receiving the Ster predicate and later achieving Voorlopig Keur status.

KWPN inspectors praised Pikilia for her beautiful neck and strong topline, as well as the quality of her movement. Her walk was noted for its scope, body use and active hind leg; her trot demonstrated good technique and impulsion; and her canter showed good power and articulation of the joints.

Her dam, Kilia, is a Ster mare by Skovens Rafael, awarded 80 points for conformation and 85 for movement at mare inspection. Kilia is descended from the celebrated Helma maternal line, a family with an extraordinary record of producing both successful broodmares and international sport horses.

The foundation mare of the line, Helma Ster Preferent Prestatie, produced two Dutch Champion mares, Deutzia and Weigelia. Her daughter Tilia was Keur, Preferent and Sport and became Dutch Champion Broodmare Under Saddle. Tilia produced Gilia, a mare by the performance champion Widor, who in turn produced the Grand Prix horse Urban Hit (Udokarde-E).

Gilia's daughter Milia, by Papillion, a son of Pilot, continued the family's exceptional production record. Her offspring include Olympic horse Aramis 606, as well as Cobarde-E and Ukarde-E, both successful through Prix St. Georges/Intermediate I; Jarezzo, successful to 1.40 m and sire Arezzo VDL; and Hamilia, successful at CCI4*.

Milia's daughter Zilia, by Scandic, is 1.70 m and Preferent and Prestatie. Her offspring include Jewels Goldstrike, Grand Prix and a competitor at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and Jobarde-E, successful at ZZ-Zwaar and internationally at the young horse level.

This exceptional lineage continues through Kilia and now to Pikilia, whose sire Kjento was World Champion of the Young Dressage Horses. Pikilia herself has already produced a colt by Erste-Sanhe (Escamillo × Sir Donnerhall) and has a filly by Lantanas from her 2024 breeding, subsequently sold to a client in Tennessee.

She is clinically and radiographically approved, including examination of the back and neck, supporting her PROK predicate and her future as a valuable broodmare.

Pikilia is now beginning her own sport career and is being prepared for her IBOP, with the goal of attaining Elite status. Her combination of exceptional mare-line credentials, modern dressage bloodlines, performance potential, and proven family production makes her a particularly exciting young broodmare for the future.

For the coming breeding season, Pikilia is planned for embryo transfer to Indian Rock.

She is currently available exclusively for embryo transfer or ICSI.

2014 KWPN | Elite | Sport-(Dressage) | IBOP-(Dressage) | D-OC

Imported from the Netherlands

Jay C is an imported KWPN Elite mare combining her own proven performance record with one of the most accomplished maternal families in Dutch dressage breeding.

By Hofrat and out of the exceptional Vitamin C (Sandro Hit × Carprilli), Jay C successfully completed her KWPN IBOP with 76.5 points and competed through Z2 dressage in the Netherlands before joining Lollybrook’s broodmare program.

Her maternal line is particularly distinguished. Jay C’s dam, Vitamin C, carries the coveted Elite, Preferent, Prestatie and PROK predicates and has established herself as an exceptional producer of dressage horses.

Most notably, Jay C is the maternal half-sister of GLOCK’S Taminiau, the KWPN-approved Grand Prix stallion by GLOCK’s Toto Jr. Other successful offspring of Vitamin C include De Mijne C, an 84.5-point IBOP mare who progressed to Light Tour, along with multiple additional Z-level and upper-level dressage horses.

Jay C is already continuing that legacy through her own offspring. Her daughter Origenal Jay HL, by Indian Rock, is a 1.73 m KWPN mare who has progressed through ZZ-Licht dressage, further demonstrating the performance strength of this maternal family.

Jay C brings to Lollybrook a rare combination of Elite KWPN status, proven sport performance, a successful IBOP, proven production and a deeply established international dressage dam line.

Uphill × Goodtimes × Ulrich

2008 KWPN | Elite | EPTM-(Dressage) | PROK | D-OC

Imported from the Netherlands | Proven FEI Producer

Dieni R is an exceptional imported KWPN Elite mare whose value is demonstrated not only by her own quality, but by an extraordinary record of consistently producing successful dressage horses.

By Uphill and out of Tieni R (Goodtimes × Ulrich), Dieni earned outstanding results in her mare testing, finishing as Reserve Champion at her regional mare test and receiving scores in the 80s for conformation, walk, suppleness and rideability. Dieni has since distinguished herself as a remarkably consistent producer. Her offspring include Kanu KS, by Expression, who has competed through Prix St. Georges/Intermediaire I in the Netherlands, as well as numerous First Premium and nationally recognized KWPN offspring.

Her son Lincoln, also by Expression, was named KWPN-NA Reserve Champion Dressage Yearling. Timber WF, by Le Formidable, was named High Score Dressage Foal at his KWPN-NA keuring, where judges praised his elegant, long-legged type, expressive front leg, suppleness and uphill balance.

Dieni’s crosses with Franklin have been particularly successful. Her 2024 Franklin daughter, Upbeat WF, earned an outstanding score of 85 (86 for conformation / 84 for movement) and finished third among all KWPN-NA dressage foals in North America.

Dieni descends from the highly regarded Kieni mare line, a Dutch performance family that has produced horses through the international levels of both dressage and jumping. Her dam, Tieni R, produced multiple successful sport horses, including Cupido, by Tuschinski, who competed at International Grand Prix dressage with Jonna Schelstraete.

With an FEI-level son, nationally recognized offspring, numerous First Premium foals and generation after generation of upper-level sport horses behind her, Dieni represents one of the most important qualities we seek in a Lollybrook broodmare: the ability to reliably reproduce performance, movement, rideability and quality.

Makaila (Malibu)

All At Once x Lord Leatherdale × Lector

2017 KWPN | 16.1 hh

Imported KWPN Mare

Makaila is an imported KWPN mare with an exciting pedigree combining modern international Grand Prix performance with some of the most influential blood in Dutch dressage breeding.

She is by All At Once (Ampère × Gribaldi), who competed internationally at Grand Prix and represented the Netherlands at the Tokyo Olympic Games with Yessin Rahmouni. Through All At Once, Makaila carries the highly sought-after influence of both Ampère and Gribaldi, two stallions whose impact can be found throughout modern international dressage.

Her maternal pedigree is equally appealing. Makaila is out of a Lord Leatherdale mare, adding the powerful Lord Loxley line and a bloodline that has become particularly important in Dutch dressage breeding. Lord Leatherdale is perhaps best known as the sire of Glamourdale, whose international Grand Prix career has demonstrated the extraordinary athletic potential of this line.

Makaila was imported to the United States and later joined the Lollybrook broodmare band, where her pedigree, type and genetics made her an exciting addition to our breeding program.

In Foal To Lowlands Old

Makaila is currently in foal to Lowlands OLD, a pairing we are particularly excited about.

The cross combines Lowlands’ Millennium × Donnerball pedigree with Makaila’s All At Once × Lord Leatherdale blood, bringing together multiple generations of international Grand Prix genetics while maintaining the modern Dutch type we value in our program.

Our goal with this pairing is a modern, expressive dressage horse with power, elasticity, natural balance and the ability to develop collection for the FEI levels.

Expected pedigree:

Lowlands OLD × All At Once × Lord Leatherdale × Lector

Ingelise (angel)

Contucci × Contango × Consul × Uniform

2014 KWPN | 17.1 hh

Iron Spring Farm Foundation Maternal Line

Ingelise is an impressive KWPN mare combining two of the most influential dressage sires in North American breeding with a treasured Iron Spring Farm foundation female line.

By Contucci and out of Tesana, by Contango, Ingelise carries an exceptional concentration of proven dressage blood. Contucci became one of the most influential dressage sires in North America, renowned for producing successful FEI horses with exceptional rideability and trainability. Her damsire, Contango Preferent, was himself a Grand Prix dressage horse and became one of the most important sires in Dutch dressage breeding.

Ingelise’s maternal family makes her particularly special to the Lollybrook breeding program. Her dam, Tesana, is out of Mystic (Consul × Uniform). Mystic is a daughter of Bernice, by Uniform, one of the important foundation mares associated with the renowned Iron Spring Farm breeding program. This gives Ingelise a direct female line of:

Tesana → Mystic → Bernice → Viona

The combination of Contucci × Contango × Consul × Uniform brings together generations selected for performance, rideability, temperament and the ability to produce quality dressage horses.

Before joining the Lollybrook broodmare band, Ingelise was developed and competed under saddle, adding a proven riding background to an already exceptional pedigree.

At 17.1 hands, Ingelise is a substantial, elegant mare with the size, presence and classic type that have characterized this maternal family for generations. She represents something especially important to Lollybrook: the preservation of a proven North American KWPN female family while thoughtfully introducing modern European dressage blood for the next generation.

In Foal to Giovanni

Ingelise is currently in foal to Giovanni, a pairing selected to add modern expression and athleticism while preserving the size, rideability and strength of her established maternal family.

Furstin Blume

Fürst Nymphenburg × Rosentau × Arkansas

Fürstin Blume’s maternal pedigree brings an especially interesting complement through Rosentau and Arkansas. Rosentau represents the Rubinstein line through Rubin-Royal, adding the rideability and trainability for which this family has become so highly regarded in dressage breeding.

At 17 hands, Fürstin Blume is a beautiful, feminine mare with considerable presence and an elegant, long-lined silhouette. She brings size, scope and quality while maintaining the refinement we want in a modern dressage horse.

In Foal to Lowlands Old

Fürstin Blume is currently in foal to Lowlands OLD, an exciting pairing selected to complement her with additional power, carrying ability and modern Grand Prix dressage genetics.

Lowlands combines Millennium × Donnerball × Landadel and was Champion of his KWPN performance test before developing through the international levels under Dinja van Liere.

The combination brings together Fürstin Blume’s established Hanoverian foundation with Lowlands’ powerful modern dressage pedigree, with the goal of producing an expressive, athletic horse with the ability to sit, carry and progress toward the FEI levels.

Tilly (Nchanted)

Bretton Woods × Don Tango × Sunny Boy

2018 KWPN | First Premium

Proven International FEI Maternal Line

Nchanted is a striking black KWPN mare combining the influential blood of Bretton Woods with an exceptional, performance-proven Dutch maternal family.

By Bretton Woods and out of the outstanding Ibistrona (Don Tango × Sunny Boy), Nchanted was presented as a foal at her KWPN-NA keuring, where she earned First Premium honors.

The strength of Nchanted’s pedigree lies particularly in her dam. Ibistrona is a KWPN Elite, IBOP-(Dressage), PROK mare who earned an exceptional 88.5 points in her IBOP performance test before progressing through Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I and competing at the international CDI level.

Nchanted’s maternal family adds further depth through her granddam, Biastrona by Sunny Boy, an Elite, IBOP-(Dressage), PROK mare from the established Strona performance family. This is a female line in which performance has been demonstrated generation after generation.

Her sire, Bretton Woods, adds another concentration of proven international dressage genetics through Johnson and De Niro, giving Nchanted an exceptionally strong combination of Dutch and German performance blood.

Wakanda Magic — Scandic × Bretton Woods

In 2026, Nchanted produced Wakanda Magic, a filly by Scandic, bred by Lollybrook Farm for international Grand Prix dressage rider Julio Mendoza and owned by Julio Mendoza.

This pairing brings together two exceptional performance families. Scandic competed at the highest level of international dressage, including the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and European Championships, while Nchanted contributes the Bretton Woods–Don Tango line and the proven FEI performance of her maternal family.

Wakanda Magic represents exactly the purpose of the Lollybrook breeding program: thoughtfully combining proven international performance bloodlines to produce the next generation of elite dressage prospects.
